Irish comedy legend Pat McDonnell headlines Dungarvan Comedy Club on Friday 27 March.
Most people know Pat as Eoin McLove from the Channel 4 sitcom Father Ted. But there’s a lot more to his stand-up than one classic character. He’s an actor and comedian with decades of TV and live performance under his belt from RTÉ’s hidden-camera comedy Naked Camera to sketch work on Stew and parts in shows like Moone Boy and The Young Offenders.
On stage he mixes sharp wit with playful crowd work and unexpected turns. This is a rare chance to see one of Ireland’s most familiar comic voices up close, cracking jokes and riffing live in a club setting.
