Fundraiser for Movember: “What Makes You Tick?”

Dungarvan Comedy Club is hosting a night that’s about more than just the laughs. We’re teaming up with Movember to raise funds and awareness for men’s health because talking, laughing, and checking in can literally save lives.

This one-off evening brings together a mix of comedy, conversation, and straight talk about what keeps men going (and what gets in their way).

On stage:

• Damien Tiernan – WLR’s sharp-tongued broadcaster who knows how to ask the questions others avoid.

• Tom Savage – rugby analyst and writer with a quick wit and solid one-liners.

• Tom O’Mahony – stand-up comic, actor and all-round storyteller fresh off his new tour O’My Honey.

• Daragh Connolly – local pharmacist and mental health advocate who sees first-hand how stress, silence, and stigma hit home.

Together they’ll take on the serious stuff! Mental health, prostate cancer, testicular cancer - through stories, humour, and a bit of honest talk about what makes men tick. Expect 90 minutes of sharp comedy, open chat, and the kind of atmosphere that only happens in Dungarvan on a Wednesday night.

Why It Matters

Every ticket sold supports Movember, the global charity improving men’s health outcomes through research, education, and community projects.Funds from this event go directly to Movember’s Irish campaign, backing programmes in mental wellbeing, suicide prevention, and early cancer detection.
