From the press...

Lucinda O Sullivan, Food Critic - Lucinda O Sullivan Great Places to Eat

“Warm and inviting with an exposed old brick wall interior and their lovely pergola terrace, we felt we were onto a winner as soon as we’d arrived. Bagging a table to the side we eagerly perused the menus, which were, in a word, substantial.”

“If you are in Dungarvan I totally recommend you visit 360 Cookhouse. Great staff, great menu, great food, great desserts, great value and dog-friendly – that’s 6 stars out of 5 ! (Extra Star for the dog-friendly attitude!)”

Orla O Muirí - Munster Vales

“his eatery oozes cool and calm sea vibes. It offers great food, big portions and good veggie options too. They’ve got delicious freshly baked bread, tapas, fish and mouthwatering burgers. If you are dining here at night, the mixologist will be on hand to shake and serve cocktails.”

360's Art

One of the elements that help to create 360 Cookhouses' great atmosphere, is the enclosing medieval walls from King Johns Castle.

Of which, we have been honoured to display some beautiful artwork of Dungarvan's local artists and other Irish artists.

Find some of their work below.

360's Artists

Noeleen Crossan, native from Dunmore East but local of Dungarvan for more than 25 years, pulls her creativity from the coastal and mountainous landscape of our beautiful surroundings. Find Noeleen Crossan's abstract oil paintings of Pomengranate in our colourful

Pergola Garden Room.

Ciara's art is located throughout 360 Cookhouse. As practitioner of the arts Ciara Patricia Langan goes beyond production of artefact with traditional materials. The work is a direct and simple engagement with political, social and civic issues from the view point of collaborative artist.

"The drawings which I am showing at 360⁰ Cookhouse are from a series of drawings examining the effects of coastal erosion on the sand dunes along our coast. Over the course of three years, I recorded the decline of the sand dunes on a particular stretch of coast. The monochromatic charcoal lends an archival quality to the work, as I documented the landscape at a specific moment in time."

Leila's charcoal drawings are available to view in the Castle Room

Eoin Cassidy

Cork Artist

“The Eye is Like the Dawn” is an abstract landscape diptych by Cork-based artist, Eoin Cassidy. The piece is inspired by the book Anam Cara (or “Soul Friend”), written by John O’Donahue.

“The eye, when it opens is like the dawn breaking in the night. When it opens, a new world is there”

Eoin’s work is available to buy from galleries nationwide, namely The Lavitt in Cork, The Old Market House Gallery Dungarvan and Ardmore Pottery to name a few.
